Description: Participants will become familiar with the basic process of digitization by creating a digital image and presenting it on a web page. This workshop is aimed at beginners who use a computer and a web browser on a regular basis. It is intended to be fun and informative.

Learning Objectives:
  • To become familiar with the terminology and concepts related to digitization.
  • To be able to create an image file using a scanner or digital camera.
  • To be able to use editing software to save files in different sizes and formats.
  • To become familiar with the options for presenting and describing digital files.
