Welcome to the Projects page! As the semester rolls along and dates are solidified, we will be posting important information about each project that is in the works for LHUCK!
The
first annual Haven Hoedown will be held Friday, October 26,
through Saturday, October 27, 2007 at the Student Rec Center on
campus. The event will be used to raise money for the National
Multiple Sclerosis Society, as part of LHUCK's effort to help with
the Pennsylvania District Circle K's Governor's Project. We have also
invited members of other Circle Ks from across the state to participate,
so make sure you get your team registrations in ASAP to ensure you
get one of your first t-shirt color choices, as they will be first come,
first serve! All registrations must be turned in by October 8,
to ensure we can get your t-shirts! Click on the ICON for more the

Camp Phoenix is a Clothing and School Supply Drive being sponsored by the Student Activities Office. The drive will be used to help address the medical and educational needs of children in Afghanistan. Residence Halls are responsible for collecting the school supplies and toys, while clubs and organizations are taking care of the clothing. The club that brings in the most clothing will receive 48 club T-shirts courtesy of LHU/SCC Bookstore. The Office of Student Activities has set the following goal for each club: 3 Coats, 5 Blankets, 5 Hats, and 5 pairs of Gloves, with Shoes, socks, and scarves being optional. Items may be new or slightly used and the collection date is Oct. 31, 2007 between the hours of 4:00 and 7:00pm in the PUB Lobby. Please bring any items you can to meetings and we'll store them in someone's apartment until the collection date!
