Trek offers two types of franchise systems, a fully
Licensed Franchise System and a Sub-Franchise System.
What are the differences between the
two Systems?
A fully license system,
you are truly your own boss. You own all the assets. It is your own
business. A Sub-Franchise system, you are an agent of TREK which you
are paid a commission on all rentals that you do. (For existing
businesses only)
What are the advantages of these
systems?
A Full Franchise System, you own the
business, therefore all the revenues go to your bank account. The
vehicles are yours, which you can sell. The business itself can be
sold or transfered. You are assigned a territory. In your territory,
you can open as many locations as you want. You can even do
'Sub-Franchising' within your territory.
A Sub-Franchise system, there is less
of an investment, but you do make less. And the vehicles are not
yours.

What do I get when I invest in TREK'S
System?
One on one training, Car Rental
System software, software to raise capital for the business
and vehicles, receive reservations via Trek's website and
Toll-Free phone line, manuals, and a listing of resources needed to run your business.
Training would include Thirty days of "on the job" training
and ongoing telephone support. Trek will install our software packages on one computer
for daily front counter operations for your
rental location. (addition computers can be installed for an additional fee)

Can I add TREK franchise system to my
existing business?
Absolutely! In fact, we encourage
existing business owners to sign up. We feel an existing business
owner has "what it takes" to succeed in a new venture. Both
ventures, existing and TREK's system, can only help each other,
create more traffic and revenues!
What are the financial
requirements?
Opening costs vary depending if you
are starting fresh or have an existing business already.
Fully Licensed
System:
One time Initial Franchise Fee:
$5,350.00. (Includes a computer
with
TREK's programs installed and ready for
use)
Monthly Fee: $100.00 each week, payable
weekly or 3.50% of gross sales, whichever is
greater; No charge for reservations from Trek's On-line Reservation
System
Credit Card Point of Sale Device: $35.00 to
$125.00 (estimate)
Computer Equipment: $1,500.00 to $2,000.00
(estimate) We can sell and setup/install the TREK's programs on
a business refurbished computer for you. (Starting $350
per computer)(Price is for computer and labor only) (Additional copies of TREK's
Car Rental System are
extra)
Signage: $1,000.00 (estimate)
Vehicle Purchases: Recommend 20 % down on
vehicle sale price, finance balance.
Sub-Franchise
System: (For existing businesses only)
One time Initial Setup Fee:
$995.00
You earn a 15% commission on vehicle rentals
plus a flat fee of $4.00 for each vehicle
'Return'.
