Parish Council The Parish Council is a group which shares in the leadership of the parish faith community by advising the pastor, the ordained leader and representative of the larger community, the Universal Church. The Parish Council itself is an enabling body which is charged with providing direction for the development of the parish faith community. The parish council, through its ongoing educational and spiritual development, is called upon to enable all members of the parish faith community to share fully in the mission and ministry Christ. Within the council, there are several committees which focus on specific areas of direction.
