Lighthouse Cruise

Saturday April 17, 2004

From Hull, MA to Plymouth, MA. We will meet at 11:00am at the Nantasket Beach parking lot in Hull, MA and will leave at 12:00 noon for the Cruise. We will run a trivia contest along the cruise to Plymouth, and make several stops along the way. We will dine on the Plymouth waterfront at the East Bay Grille at about 4:00 pm

Directions from Rt. 3: take exit # 14 (that is Rt. 228 in Rockland, Mass.) Follow Rt. 228 past Rt. 53 and past Rt. 3A to Hull/Nantasket Beach to the main parking lot.

Vermont Green Mountain Cruise II

May 1 – 2, 2004

Members Howard and Martha Longway organize this fun spring event. Freedom Chrysler, 1095 Shelburne Road, South Burlington, VT has once again invited us to come up to their dealership and show off our cars. www.chuckschunks.com is going to donate a PT Cruiser wooden clock for our raffle. Check out his website to see his work...awesome stuff! Check out another one of our sponsors: edashkit.com has donated $100 worth of gift certificates to the show.

Also on "tap", a tour of the Magic Hat Brewing Company.

Here is a link to the Church Street Marketplace where you can visit after the show on Saturday or Sunday for dining shopping and people watching.

Sunday sunrise cruise to MT.Philo state park, 10 miles south of the hotel, for a very scenic view of the area and lake. Meet at 8 am and arrive at 8:30 am at the mountain. See the links below for photos.

Mohegan Council, Boy Scouts of America 2nd Annual Antique Car Show

Sunday, June 6, 2004

The Mohegan Council, Boy Scouts of America has invited us the NEPTCC to the 2nd Antique Car Show on Sunday June 6th (10:00 am until 3:00 pm) at Treasure Valley Scout Reservation in Rutland, Massachusetts. Rain date is Sunday, June 13, 2004. Treasure Valley is a beautiful 1,600-acre year round camping facility.

We will be eligible for a special interest class for 1980 - 2004, or they may open a class for PT Cruisers. Special recognition for the club with the most cars present and vehicle furthest traveled. Dash Plaques, trophies, door prizes, a DJ and food services on the grounds. Registration is $15.00 in advance or $20.00 the day of the show.

2nd Annual CRVC Car Show

The show is put on by the Conn. River Valley Cruisers in Haverhill, NH. Last year our club won a trophy for Club Participation. We hope some of our members will attend the Haverhill event and try to win another trophy.

South Shore Chrysler Show n' Shine

The event will start at Noon

South Shore Chrysler has invited us to their place for a Show n' Shine. There will be hot dogs, hamburgers, soft drinks, chips and maybe some of Cammi's famous SB's. Free give-aways, non-stop oldies music provided by Jerry V from Vegas, free Mopar Cleaning Kits for all PT Cruisers attending, and raffles. They have offered club members a 10% discount on all accessories.

We are going to take over their front and side lot space for displaying our cruisers. Everyone at the dealership is excited about this. We are negotiating to have one of our club member's modified PT put in their showroom for the day!
We are trying to persuade "Elvis to make an appearance in character" see profile for Sails Cruiser on ezboard.

Blendtek Show & Shine

Dave Cooper (ptcooper03), manager of Blendtek www.blendtek.com in Bellingham, MA, former body shop manager from South Shore Chrysler, is having a Show & Shine for our club.

To get there take Rt. 495 to exit 18, onto Rt. 126 Bellingham. Follow Rt. 126 into Bellingham Center and make right onto Rt. 140 which is Mendon Street. Blendtek is # 57 and will be on the right side. Use exit 18 as the 140/495 interchange is under construction. Look for postings on ezboard.

Cruise n' Snooze III

Cruise n' Snooze - Show & Shine, October 2 – 3, 2004
Sleepytown Motel, Wells, ME

The Wells, Maine area is beautiful, and the weekend activities & car show will be the highlight of our 2004 Season. Last year approximately 60 PTs from all 6 New England states, along with New York and New Jersey, made the trip, and through entry fees and raffles, we were able to donate $815 and 8 boxes of food to St. Mary's Food Bank in Wells.
