2007 Blocks of the Month

Blocks this year vary in size. Sizes given are for the finished block as sewn into a quilt. The single block alone should measure an additional 1/2", which includes a standard 1/4" seam allowance on each side. For example, an 18" block should measure 18-1/2". Be sure you do not trim off the seam allowances when squaring up your blocks. It is better to have your blocks just a little too big, than to trim off any points!

	January 2 (Tuesday) - 12" Snowball - shades of blue snowballs, with white background fabric supplied by club Quilter's Cache Snowball (supplies list on page 2)
	February 6 (Tuesday) - 10" Broken Arrows - shades of pink with black. Quilter's Cache Broken Arrows (supplies list on page 2)
	March 6 - 12" Pinwheel - shades of purple or green with tans or whites. Quilter's Cache Pinwheel (supplies list on page 2)
	April 3 - 12" Mini Bow Tie - pastels. Quilter's Cache Mini Bow Tie (supplies list on page 2)
	May 1 - 12" Really Split Nine Patch - light and dark scraps. Quilter's Cache Really Split Nine Patch (supplies list on page 2)
	June 5 - 18" City Streets - blue center with yellow. Quilter's Cache City Streets (supplies list on page 2)
	July 3 - 12" Christmas in July...Variable 9 patch - fussy cut christmas center with red/green background. (Note: this block will be due at the August 7th meeting.) Christmas in July
	August 7 - 12" Sunlight and Shadow variation - florals on dark background with white on whites. There will be two drawings this month, one for the July block, one for the August block. SewQuilty Sunlight and Shadow
	September 4 - 12" Tennessee - scraps Quilter's Cache Tennessee (supplies list on page 2)
	October 2 - 12" Birds in the Air - fall shades of rusts oranges or yellows Quilter's Cache Birds in the Air (supplies list on page 2)
	November 6 - 18" Nine Patch Log Cabin - shades of blue Quilter's Cache Nine Patch Log Cabin (supplies list on page 2)
	December 3 - 12" Mississippi - gold centers with christmas print (Barb P. is supplying the gold fabric, so they all match) Quilter's Cache Mississippi (supplies list on page 2)
