NATURAL HORSEMANSHIP CLASSES In
addition to our regular riding classes,
Merry Mount is happy to offer natural
horsemanship classes to expand and improve your
riding experience. Please call for more
information and to schedule your
class. New Classes are forming for both riding instruction and natural horsemanship/relationship classes. An evaluation lesson is needed to be able to place a new student in the appropriate class. Please call to schedule your evaluation. SUMMER RIDING CAMP For those campers who are now eligible and interested in the CIT program, please email or call (must have parents permission) so we can begin the process. Campers, don't be left out. Registrations started earlier than usual and the sessions are starting to fill. So, don't wait too long to sign up for camp. TACK SHELTER NEWS We finally did it. We made the decision to accept credit cards. We are now accepting Visa and Master Card. We hope that this will make shopping at Merry Mount a much better experience for all. Of course, we are still carrying your favorite riding apparell and, as always, if we don't have it stock, we will order it, and usually it only takes a few days to get it. Of course, it is always better not to wait until the day of the show to find the exact riding boots in your size that you have always wanted. EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES To the often asked question, do we offer working student opportunities - yes, we do. We also have paying positions open with the chance to grow with us. Work at the barn is always interesting, often challenging, and not for the faint of heart. For several months of the year, the weather is just right, but, then there are the really cold months and the really hot months, and still the horses expect to be fed and cared for in the best possible way. But, if your life is all about horses, then this could be the dream job of your life, and the opportunity to learn from the best.
