Rebuilding Jay's Covered Bridge
August 7, 2004 update
Rafters are now complete
Ridge sheathing and rake trims are installed
1/2" diagonal x rods connect the 8 x 8 transverse beam ends
These rods are in the process of being tightened
heavy rain, equipment problems, and a smaller crew slowed progress down a bit this week :-(
