Rebuilding Jay's Covered Bridge

The new bridge has been cambered (curved) to 8" at the midpoint

Stringers are spiked in and the new gluelam deck is being put down
Jay covers the cast iron shoes to protect them from rusting

Opposite view of the new deck

Temporary staging is erected to support the top chords

Top chords in place, transverse roof beams installed
(that pesky telephone pole is at about the midpoint)
