The history of the last 2500 years has been replete with places and eras in which reason and logic flourished and places and eras in which terror and death reigned. There continues to this day a war between light (beauty, reason and logic) and darkness (ugliness, dogma and superstition). The latter tends to gain sway when the Machiavellian powers that be use fear, lies and intimidation to convince a gullible public that it is in its interest to avoid thinking and to `burn the heretics, unbelievers, witches or jews.'
It is our objective to preserve that which 2500 years of scientific research has taught us. If the earth is to become flat again, let us try to pass on what has been learned to those (wherever they may reside) who cherish beauty, reason and logic and who will see to it that bona fide spiritual enlightenment someday returns to this planet.
