The 2008 Empire State Games will be held in the Greater Binghamton/Broome County area, July 23 - 27.  The event will mark the 31st celebration of the Summer Games.  The Broome County area has hosted the Games twice previously, in 2000 and 2004.  Binghamton University will house many of the athletes and volunteers, and will host a number of sport competitions.  Additional venues in the county will also be utilized to accommodate the 27 sports and 5,000+ athletes. The tournament will a "Better-of-Two NFAA Indoor 300 Rounds" format.  The official score for the Mid-Atlantic Indoor Tournament will be one 60 arrow NFAA 300 Round.  Competitors will have the option of shooting one or two 60 arrow rounds.
There will be be a new format for breaking tie scores: "Inside-Out X's" will be scored for the last six (6) ends.

The 2009 Empire State Games will be held in the Mid-Hudson Valley region of New York State - Dutchess, Orange and Ulster Counties.  The event will mark the 32nd celebration of the Summer Games.  The Mid-Hudson Valley first held the Games in 2005.  The competition and programs for the Summer Games will be primarily held at locations in Poughkeepsie, Newburgh and New Paltz.  For further information visit: http://www.empirestategames.org

The 2010 Empire State Games will be held Buffalo, New York.  The event will mark the 33rd celebration of the Summer Games.  The 2010 Summer Games will mark the fifth time Buffalo has hosted the Empire State Summer Games.  The Games last came to Buffalo in 2003, and were previously held in the city in 1996, 1986 and 1985.  The Games will be hosted in a number of local facilities including the University of Buffalo, Niagara University, Daemen College, Buffalo State College, D'Youville College Canisius College and other local and municipal venues.  For further information visit: http://www.empirestategames.org
