The NYSCC held its Legislative
meeting on March 9-10, 2008 in Albany.
The NYSCC is a statewide sportsmen association representing our interests
on hunting, fishing, and trapping issues.
The NYSCC representatives are from county federations, statewide
sportsmen associations such as NYFAB and affiliate members such as Seneca Lake
Duck Hunters. The NYSCC maintains a
close working relationship with the NYSDEC and lobbies our state legislators on
issues affecting New York sportsmen. At
this meeting I was representing NYFAB.
On Monday March 10, 2008 the NYSCC members discussed
and voted on 62 legislative items. All
of the bills referenced can be found on the “New York State Bill Search”
