One simple way to clean up the rear light/reflector area.
When I bought my 2001 used Roadstar the rear red reflectors were missing. I wanted to comply with the law requiring rear side reflectors but I didn't want to put the large original ones on which in my opinion look like an afterthought the way they're mounted.
A local Yamaha dealer gave me two small reflectors for free so I decided to use them.
I removed that extra reflector bracket and positioned the reflectors on the ends of the plate holder with a drop of Krazy glue.
Both reflectors tacked in place with Krazy glue.
I used J-B KWIK Weld (the five minute variety) to secure the reflectors threads to the bracket.
In five minutes both reflectors are secured solidly to the ends of the license plate bracket itself.
Here it's shown reassembled without the license place installed but with all the wires tucked back in.
Finished! Shown with my $7.95 Walmart motorcycle chain license plate frame and old school red fresnel lens directionals. Before you ask, the sticker on the rear fender is homemade too. It's on a thin strip of magnetic rubber
