    If you wait long enough for the background to load, the parts you will see scattered about on this page are the engine parts of the first of the John Deere Model B tractors.
     The Model B is a slightly smaller version of the Model A General Purpose row-crop tractor, which had been introduced a year earlier. The B came out in 1934 for the 1935 model year. A repair parts catalog, No.43-R, was issued on October 1st, 1934.
