Maps, Atlases, and Similar Resources
- DeskMapSystems, Inc. is a mapping company that sells rail maps on-line.
- N.Y. State Dept. of Transportation's "Photolog" has a library of images, shot at a rate of about 100 times per mile, of 1700 miles of NYS rail lines, which are taken from a hi-rail vehicle.
- Steam Powered Videos has a regional atlas series. These lack topo information, and actual track locations are sometimes somewhat somewhere else than where they have been drawn, but nevertheless these are excellent contemporary as well as historical resources.
