July 22-26, 2009	The 2009 Empire State Summer Games will be suspended for one year due to New York's unprecedented fiscal crisis. The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation will seek private sponsors and support in order to reinstate the Summer Games in 2010. July 22 - 26, 2009	64th NFAA Outdoor National Tournament - Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. The tournament host club is the Mechanicsburg Sportsmen's  Protective Association (click for club web page). August 22 & 23, 2009	59th NYFAB Outdoor Championship will be held at Guna Ho Ha Fish & Game Club, Rector Road, Scotia, New York. SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: Friday August 21st - Field Archery Course open for practice after 12 NOON for a $5 fee.  Late Registration from 4 PM - 7 PM. Saturday August 22nd - 7 AM Pick up scorecards;  8 AM  Assembly; 8:30 AM Shotgun start of  28 target Hunter Round. January 13 - 15, 2010	ATA Trade Show @ Columbus, Ohio.  For further information: http://www.archerytrade.org NOTE:  ATA ADJUSTS SHOW DATES FOR 2010.  The Archery Trade Association's Board of Directors has changed the 2010 Trade Show dates to Wednesday, January 13th through Friday, January 15th to accommodate a scheduling conflict.  The Board made the change so exhibitors attending both the ATA and SHOT shows had enough time to make the transition between events.

March 6 & 7, 2010	NFAA Mid-Atlantic Indoor Sectional Tournament will be held at the following 15 sites across the seven state Mid-Atlantic section: The tournament will be a "Better-of-Two NFAA Indoor 300 Rounds" format.  Mayberry Archers - Westminister, Maryland Fletcher's Corners - South Cape May Courthouse, New Jersey Wa-Xo-Be Archers - South Brunswick, New Jersey Wo-Pe-Na Archers - Clifton, New Jersey Creekwood Archery - Brockport, New York Double T Archery Club (Hosted by Doc's Archery) - North Tonawanda, New York Neil's Archery - Endicott, New York Smith Point Archery - Patchogue, New York York & Adams Archery - Abbottstown, Pennsylvania Charleroi Archery Club - Charleroi, Pennsylvania Lonesome Road Archery - Taylor, Pennsylvania Ogden Outdoors - Amherst, Virginia Prince William Archers - Brentsville, Virginia Wythe Bowhunters - Wytheville, Virginia Mid-State Archers - Sutton, West Virginia The official score of the Mid-Atlantic Indoor Tournament will be one 60 arrow NFAA 300 Round.  Competitors will have the option of shooting one or two 60 arrow rounds. Format for breaking tie scores: "Inside-Out X's" will be scored for the last six (6) ends.

July 21-25, 2010	The 2010 Empire State Games will be held Buffalo, New York.  The event will mark the 33rd celebration of the Summer Games.  The 2010 Summer Games will mark the fifth time Buffalo has hosted the Empire State Summer Games.  The Games last came to Buffalo in 2003, and were previously held in the city in 1996, 1986 and 1985.  The Games will be hosted in a number of local facilities including the University of Buffalo, Niagara University, Daemen College, Buffalo State College, D'Youville College Canisius College and other local and municipal venues.  For further information visit: http://www.empirestategames.org
