July 22-26, 2009 The 2009 Empire State Summer Games will be suspended for one year due to New York's unprecedented fiscal crisis.
The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation will seek private sponsors and support in order to reinstate the Summer Games in 2010.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
Friday August 21st - Field Archery Course open for practice after 12 NOON for a $5 fee.  Late Registration from 4 PM - 7 PM.
Saturday August 22nd - 7 AM Pick up scorecards;  8 AM  Assembly; 8:30 AM Shotgun start of  28 target Hunter Round.
Sunday August 23rd -  7 AM Pick up scorecards;  8 AM  Assembly; 8:30 AM Shotgun start of  28 target Field Round.

NOTE:  ATA ADJUSTS SHOW DATES FOR 2010.  The Archery Trade Association's Board of Directors has changed the 2010 Trade Show dates to Wednesday, January 13th through Friday, January 15th to accommodate a scheduling conflict.  The Board made the change so exhibitors attending both the ATA and SHOT shows had enough time to make the transition between events.

The 2010 Empire State Games will be held Buffalo, New York.  The event will mark the 33rd celebration of the Summer Games.  The 2010 Summer Games will mark the fifth time Buffalo has hosted the Empire State Summer Games.  The Games last came to Buffalo in 2003, and were previously held in the city in 1996, 1986 and 1985.  The Games will be hosted in a number of local facilities including the University of Buffalo, Niagara University, Daemen College, Buffalo State College, D'Youville College Canisius College and other local and municipal venues.  For further information visit: http://www.empirestategames.org
