| About OUABACHE VALLEY RAMBLERS: We are a diverse group of enthusiastic Holiday Rambler RV owners. Our Chapter membership is mainly from the Central, East Central & West Central areas of Indiana. Monthly campouts are scheduled the Fourth Friday thru Sunday, with exceptions, April thru October. The Chapter has a Christmas dinner the third Sunday in December. Informal luncheons are held, weather permitting, in November, January, February and March for the non-Snow Birds. The Chapter annually makes donations to Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Scholarship Fund. We make and sell lanyards for our fund raiser. Ouabache Valley Ramblers Chapter 57 was founded at Ouabache State Park in October 1965. The Parent Club was Holiday Rambler Travel Club at that time. "Ouabache" is the French Jesuit spelling of the Miami Indian pronunciation of the word "Wabash" which means Laughing Waters. | ||
| PURPOSE: 1) To provide year-round opportunities for its members 2) To enjoy good fellowship and pleasant associations with fellow members and expanded use of their recreational vehicles 3) To foster friendship among all 4) To set an example of courtesy on the highway and of model conduct at meeting sites and in public campgrounds 5) To encourage the growth of recreational vehicle facilities in the United States 6) To disseminate advisory and educational information to its members and the public 7) To encourage the expansion and improvement of existing recreational vehicle parking areas at reasonable fees 8) To participate in and be supportive of State, Regional and National HRRVC programs and activities in order to promote the success and welfare of the entire Club organization, and thus in turn, its members |
